iGrant Goes Live at Shaftesbury School

iGrant is a foundation management application designed for use by small foundations such as those found in schools and colleges.

The first user of iGrant is the Shaftesbury School Foundation, founded by William Lush in 1718, which provides funding for the extra-curricular needs of Shaftesbury School and Sports Colege in Dorset, England.

The new iGrant system is being used for:

  • Grant application processing
  • Income and expense bookkeping
  • Portfolio position tracking
  • Meeting and event management
  • Contact and document management

Compared to the old 'home-grown' system, the new iGrant system delivers many new benefits including:

  • Role-based security for appropriate information transaparency
  • Role-based dashboards for quick visual assimilation of key information
  • Automated emails to keep grant applicants informed of the progress of their applications
  • Automated emails to keep trustees informed of new meetings and documents
  • Online document library for anytime, anywhere access to the Foundation's documents and records
  • Immediate access to all relevant accounting and portfolio information to understand the Foundation's current financial position
